AD ORDERING & DESIGN INSTRUCTIONS
The Man of the Year /Youth of the Year Tribute Book offers an excellent way for you to express your appreciation to your club’s honorees. The following information will help you design and pay for your ad.
The dimensions of the Tribute Book are 5 1/2″ W x 8 1/2″ L. Ads are smaller than these dimensions (see below).
In addition to the standard b/w ads, we offer three premium ad spaces on both inside covers and the outside back cover. Premium spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis.
FINAL deadline, no exceptions, for ad reservations, submissions and payment is February 28, 2025.

- If using one of the MS Word file templates, simply choose the ad you like and edit it. USE THE FONTS PROVIDED.
- If using the PDF templates, use a graphics editor that can import PDF files and resave the final ad as a PDF.
- Be careful not to resize the ads.
- If you are taking out a standard (non-cover) ad, submit the artwork in B&W. If you are reserving an inside cover or back cover position, submit the artwork in full-color CMYK.
- If including a photo, make sure it is high resolution.

HONOREE BIOS AND PHOTOS
PHOTOS – When choosing a photo for your honoree, take a little time to obtain a photo worthy of this honor. Download our helpful graphic, How to make your honoree look great, to see what is preferred for photos.
BIOS – Talk about your honoree's involvement at the synagogue, in the community, etc. Touch on family and hobbies, too, if you have space. It's also okay to mention professional or scholastic achievements.
Shoot for 1,500 CHARACTERS (with spaces). That's approximately 270 words (or roughly a half page). We've provided some examples for the MOY and YOY bios.
Note: Anything less than 1,000 characters will seem short; anything over 2,200 characters forces the text to be made smaller to fit.
